1. Full Refund Conditions

  • Cancellation by Iceland Sky: If we must cancel a tour due to force majeure (e.g., severe weather), customers will receive a full refund.
  • Proven Illness or Force Majeure for No‑Shows: Customers who miss a tour due to proven illness (a medical certificate may be required) or force majeure circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, significant road closures, flight cancellations) are entitled to a full refund.

This policy applies to bookings made via www.icelandsky.is or directly with our team, unless a specific product page or confirmation states otherwise.

2. Customer Cancellations

  1. Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the tour will receive a full refund.
  2. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour will not be refunded unless covered by the conditions mentioned above.

3. Refund Process

    1. Refunds will be processed through the original payment method.
    2. The refund process may take 5–7 business days after approval, depending on the payment provider (e.g., Rapyd) and the card issuer/bank.

4. Non‑Refundable Services

  1. Some third‑party services booked through our platform, provided by suppliers, may be non‑refundable depending on the supplier’s policy.
  2. In such cases, Iceland Sky will notify customers at the time of booking.

5. How to Cancel

  1. Send an email to info@icelandsky.is from the booking email address with your booking reference and full name.
  2. The email receipt timestamp in Iceland time (GMT/UTC) determines the applicable terms.

Additional Terms

Weather and Natural Conditions

Icelandic weather is unpredictable; visibility (e.g., northern lights) is not guaranteed. If a tour operates but conditions limit the experience, standard refund rules apply unless stated otherwise on the product page.

Rescheduling by Customer

  1. One reschedule may be accommodated free if requested ≥48 hours before start and subject to availability.
  2. <48 hours: may be treated as cancellation and re‑booking.
  3. Price differences apply; no refund if the new option is cheaper.

Late Arrival & Pickup

Arrive on time at meeting/pickup points. Delays due to traffic/personal reasons do not entitle refunds. If we cannot reach you within a reasonable waiting window, it may be treated as a no‑show.
